Nancy Sajdak Manning is a freelance journalist, historian, and developmental and copy editor who lives in Bay City, Michigan. She holds a BA degree in History, with a minor in Creative Writing, from Saginaw Valley State University, Michigan. Her history studies focus mainly on social and cultural history in Michigan and parts of Europe. Since January 2005, Manning’s writing has appeared primarily in Michigan periodicals including Michigan History, The Chronicle (Historical Society of Michigan membership magazine), Michigan Out-of-Doors, and a broad variety of Interlude Media/Great Lakes Bay Publishing productions.
